7th Annual Marianas Windsurfing Cup
The two-day event will give competitors a chance to the test their skills against windsurfers from Guam and Japan and Hawaii and from other destination competing for the gold. The cost to participate is $100, which includes a commemorative T-shirt, racing tank top, and awards banquet. 15th Annual Rota Blue Triathlon
The CNMI hosts a wide array of sporting activities from novice to professionals. Participate in this event or simply become a spectator. Aside from the intense competition on Rota’s beautiful terrain, you can enjoy a relaxing getaway in the CNMI’s friendly island, where hospitality is seen and experienced everywhere. Two types: A type - Olympic (1.5 km swim, 40 bike and 10k run): B type - Half Iron-man (2km swim, 90km bike and 2km run). 8th Annual Thanksgiving "Don’t Be A Turkey" Walk
Registration starts at 6:00 a.m. at the Chamolinian Cultural Village, Inc. (CCVI) parking lot area. Registration fee is $6.00; 5 km and 10 km routes are available. The walk is held along the Friends of the Saipan Beach Pathway built along the beautiful shores of Saipan lined up with flowering flame trees, coconut palms and ironwood trees that give shade and scenic beauty to the pathway.
